Cogent description of the same playbook of exclusion and racism; what's old is new, and what's valuable is often forgotten. Here's hoping that the MAGA minions re-discover the Bible and decide to teach us all the principle of "Love they Neighbor as Yourself."

Agree! And Jesus was not talking about self-esteem.

I remember my Daddy watching Face the Nation and I guess I’m glad that I thought it was boring back then. I was only 8 years old when this aired and I would have left the room. Sadly now we are all having to face where we are as a nation and looking back proves we still have many bridges to cross.

I can identify with that. I was 13 in 1968. So many horrid things took place in '68--Bobby, King, ... I was active by 1970 when 4 students at Ohio were shot down. Psychologists say that your adult personality is set, childhood notwithstanding, in the ages between 15 and 25. That is who we are now. Chronically woke!

Thanks, Steve, Daniel, and Mary, for your comments. We need to know we are not alone.
