I was blown away to see his widow in the Mets clubhouse today, she’s 102 and still getting out in a wheelchair to honor her husband. What an amazing woman!
Lifelong Dodgers fan here. One of the reasons is Jackie Robinson and his imprint on baseball and American culture. Thank you for an amazing and important reminder of who he was - and who we should aspire to be as a country. I'll be sporting my Dodgers #42 jersey proudly all day.
